Blogging out for help.

As most of you know, I was recently accepted into my DREAM college, The School of Visual Arts, in my DREAM city, New York.

But there's a slight problem. In their acceptance letter they also informed me that I am required to send them $1,300 ASAP.

This money is due by May 1st (yes, the in-three-days-May-1st!), or very shortly thereafter. (It's a first come first serve type deal)

And I've tried everything. I have no semblance of a college fund, and I intended to get by on financial aid, grants, scholarships, federal and student loans. The problem is, I'm not allowed to use ANY of these to pay off the $1,300.

You guys know I don't ask for much, but now I really need your help. If EVERY SINGLE PERSON on my facebook were to give me just $3, I'd be able to make this payment.

Otherwise, I don't know how I'm going to be able to swing this. I've exhausted all my other options and this is the only thing I can think of. I don't want to give up on my education.

If you guys can help me at ALL, even if it's only 50 cents or a dollar, I'm hoping against hope I can get enough money in three days to make my payment. Paypal even takes credit cards.

(Copy and paste this link into your browser and PLEASE forward this to your friends too, if you think they can help)

Thank you so much to anyone who can help. I appreciate every cent you can donate to me.

Thank you,

done. Good luck! If you don't get all the money you need, can you enroll next semester?

Thank you Jessie! I'm not sure if I can enroll for next semester (on the application I could only apply for Fall 2010 or Fall 2011) but if I can't raise the money in time, I'll have to find out. I hope I can, I don't want have to put off school for another year.
